The WCS Board of Education has begun the process of looking for a new Superintendent of Schools and would like the input of the community. The Board will be conducting a Focus Groups Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in the school gymnasium. The purpose of the meeting is for local community groups to give their input on the attributes needed for a new superintendent of Wells Central School. The Board will take this input into consideration during the selection process. Any community group that is interested in the school, i.e. Partners in Education, Senior Citizens, Wells Improvement Group, etc., is welcome to attend. Individuals are also welcome. |

Students Enjoy Music Performance and Workshops |

Students from Wells, Lake Pleasant, and Piseco enjoyed a music performance and workshops by Associated Solo Artists recently. On January 5 and 6, the group performed for all grade levels and conducted workshops in various music genres.  Thank you for your support for our book fair. We made over $1300 and 40% of that went to fulfill teachers' wish lists for their classrooms. We also would like to thank the Wells Volunteer Fire Department for making a donation to the fair. The money was used to buy books for those students who couldn't buy one themselves. Every student in the elementary grades got something from the fair! Our next fair is in May. Hope to see you there!
